What is this

Slaughter Reborn is a 2D puzzle platformer made for the GMTK Game Jam 2025. The concept revolves around an immortal being who, upon dying, respawns near their previous corpse — which can then be used as a tool to solve puzzles and progress through the level. Death isn’t a setback; it’s a mechanic.

My Contributions

I handled the core gameplay systems: the respawn mechanic that leaves a usable corpse behind, the ability to pick it up and interact with it, a basic attack system, the health system, collision-based damage, and the enemy AI.
